What Are House Rules and Where Can I Find Them?
Every venue on Haveaspot can publish its own House Rules — specific rules about how the Listed Premises may be used. These might cover things like noise levels, parking, maximum occupancy, alcohol policy, catering arrangements, and how the space should be left after your event.
Where to Find House Rules
Section titled “Where to Find House Rules”House Rules are displayed on the Venue’s listing page. You should read them carefully before submitting a Booking Request.
Once your Booking is confirmed, the specific version of the House Rules that applied at the time of confirmation are locked to your booking. You can access them at any time via the My Bookings section of your Haveaspot account.
Your Obligation to Follow House Rules
Section titled “Your Obligation to Follow House Rules”You agree to review and abide by the Venue’s lawful and reasonable House Rules. This obligation extends to your guests and any attendees you bring to the space — you are responsible for their conduct.
Failing to follow House Rules may result in:
- The Venue terminating your event and requiring you and your guests to leave — without a refund
- Liability for any damage caused to the property
Changes to House Rules After Booking
Section titled “Changes to House Rules After Booking”Venues can update their House Rules at any time, but updated rules do not apply retroactively to existing confirmed bookings unless you explicitly agree to them in writing through the Platform. The rules that apply to your Booking are the ones that were in effect at the exact date and time your Booking was confirmed.
Conflicts Between House Rules and Haveaspot’s Terms
Section titled “Conflicts Between House Rules and Haveaspot’s Terms”If there is any conflict between a Venue’s House Rules and Haveaspot’s Terms of Service (including the Cancellation Policy), Haveaspot’s Terms always take precedence.
