When and How Will I Get Paid?
Once a Booker confirms and pays for a booking, you will receive the Hire Cost directly to your connected Stripe account. Here is how it works and what to expect.
How money flows
Section titled “How money flows”- The Booker pays the Total Fee (your Hire Cost plus the Haveaspot Booking Fee) at the time of booking
- Stripe processes the payment
- The Hire Cost portion is transferred to your Stripe Connect Account
- Stripe then pays out your balance to your linked bank account
Haveaspot does not hold your funds at any point. Money moves from the Booker directly through Stripe to you.
Payout timings
Section titled “Payout timings”Payout timings are controlled by Stripe, not Haveaspot. As a general guide:
- Your first payout: typically arrives around 7 days after the payment is made
- Subsequent payouts: typically arrive within 2–7 days of a payment being processed
These timings may vary depending on Stripe’s processes, your account status, and your bank. If you are experiencing delays, you will need to check your Stripe dashboard or contact Stripe support directly — Haveaspot is not able to expedite payouts on your behalf.
Setting up your bank account
Section titled “Setting up your bank account”Your payout bank account is configured within your Stripe Connect Account. Make sure your bank details are correct and up to date in Stripe to avoid any delays.
What can affect my payout?
Section titled “What can affect my payout?”There are a few situations that may affect the amount you receive or delay a payout:
- Refunds: if a Booker is entitled to a refund, this will reduce the amount paid out to you. See Understanding the Haveaspot Cancellation Policy for refund rules.
- Chargebacks: if a Booker disputes a payment with their bank, Stripe may withhold or reverse the relevant funds. See What Happens If a Booker Initiates a Chargeback?.
- Set-off: if you owe Haveaspot any fees (for example, due to a venue cancellation), Haveaspot may deduct these from future payouts.
- Insufficient funds: if a refund is required but your Stripe balance is too low to cover it, additional steps may be needed. See What Happens If My Stripe Account Has Insufficient Funds for a Refund?.
