Am I Responsible for My Guests?
Yes. As the Booker, you are fully responsible for everyone you invite to or allow into the Listed Premises during your Booking period.
Who Counts as Your Responsibility?
Section titled “Who Counts as Your Responsibility?”Your responsibility extends to:
- Guests and attendees at your event
- Service providers you bring to the venue (caterers, photographers, entertainers, etc.)
- Any other individuals you allow access to the space during your Booking
What Are You Liable For?
Section titled “What Are You Liable For?”You are liable for:
- Any breach of the Venue’s House Rules by your guests
- Any damage to the property or its contents caused by you or your guests beyond normal wear and tear
- Any illegal, hazardous, or disruptive conduct by anyone present under your Booking
Can the Venue Ask My Guests to Leave?
Section titled “Can the Venue Ask My Guests to Leave?”Yes. The Venue has the right to terminate your Booking and require everyone to vacate the premises immediately — without a refund — if the conduct of you or your guests is in serious breach of the rules, causes safety risks, or constitutes a nuisance. Practical Tips
Section titled “Practical Tips”- Make sure all attendees are aware of the House Rules before the event
- For larger events, consider designating someone to help manage guests’ behaviour
- If you are bringing service providers, brief them on the Venue’s expectations in advance
- If something goes wrong during the event, address it quickly and communicate with the Venue
