What Happens to Existing Bookings If I Close My Account?

Closing your Haveaspot account does not cancel your obligations to Bookers who have already confirmed bookings with you. You remain responsible for honouring those bookings even after you give notice to close.

You must honour existing confirmed bookings

Any booking that was confirmed before your account closure notice was given must still be fulfilled. Bookers have made plans and paid for their events based on your confirmed availability — you cannot simply cancel these bookings because you are leaving the platform.

If you fail to honour existing bookings, this will be treated as a Venue cancellation with all the associated consequences, including:

• A 100% refund of the Total Fee to the affected Booker
• You owing Haveaspot the Booking Fee plus VAT for each cancelled booking
• Potential damage to your reputation if reviews are left

Outstanding fees remain due

Any fees you owe Haveaspot at the time of account closure — whether from previous cancellations, chargebacks, or other obligations — do not disappear when you close your account. These amounts remain legally due and Haveaspot will pursue collection through whatever means are available.

What if you cannot fulfil a booking?

If you have a genuine reason why you cannot fulfil an existing booking — for example, the venue is no longer available due to circumstances beyond your control — contact Haveaspot at support@haveaspot.com as early as possible. Acting quickly and transparently gives the Booker the best chance of making alternative arrangements and reduces the impact on your obligations.

After the last booking is complete

Once all your existing confirmed bookings have been fulfilled and any outstanding fees are settled, your account will be fully closed and you will no longer have access to the platform.
