What Happens If a Booker Cancels?
When a Booker cancels a confirmed booking, the Haveaspot Cancellation Policy determines how much of the Hire Cost is refunded to them — and how much you retain.
How much will I receive if a Booker cancels?
Section titled “How much will I receive if a Booker cancels?”The amount you keep depends on when the Booker cancels relative to the event date:

The 48-hour Grace Period
Section titled “The 48-hour Grace Period”If a Booker cancels within 48 hours of confirming the booking, and the event date is more than 14 days away, they are entitled to a full refund. This applies even if the event is months away — the grace period exists to allow Bookers to correct a mistake or change their mind shortly after booking.
What happens to the Haveaspot Booking Fee?
Section titled “What happens to the Haveaspot Booking Fee?”The Haveaspot Booking Fee is charged to the Booker separately and does not affect your payout. Refund of the Booking Fee is between Haveaspot and the Booker.
When will my payout be adjusted?
Section titled “When will my payout be adjusted?”If a refund is triggered by a Booker cancellation, Stripe will process the refund to the Booker. Depending on the timing of your payout, this may reduce your Stripe balance or result in a reversal of a previous payout. See When and How Will I Get Paid? for more on payout timing.
