How Does the Fee Structure Work?
Understanding how fees work on Haveaspot helps you set the right price for your space and know exactly what you will receive from each booking.
The three figures to know

Section titled “Hire Cost”The Hire Cost is the price you set for the use of your space. This is the amount you will receive when a booking is paid.
Important: if you are VAT registered, your Hire Cost must be set inclusive of VAT. You are responsible for accounting for and paying any VAT due to HMRC — Haveaspot does not handle this on your behalf.
Haveaspot Booking Fee
Section titled “Haveaspot Booking Fee”Haveaspot charges Bookers a Booking Fee of 15% of your Hire Cost. This fee is paid by the Booker — it is added on top of your Hire Cost when they check out. You do not pay this fee, and it does not reduce the amount you receive.
Listing your space on Haveaspot is free. There are no fees charged to you as a Venue for using the platform.
Total Fee
Section titled “Total Fee”The Total Fee is what the Booker pays in full — your Hire Cost plus the Haveaspot Booking Fee. This is the figure Bookers see when they complete their booking.

What happens if a refund is issued?
Section titled “What happens if a refund is issued?”If a Booker cancels and is entitled to a refund of the Hire Cost, that refund is processed back to them. However, the Haveaspot Booking Fee is non-refundable to you — meaning if you cancel a booking, you will owe Haveaspot the Booking Fee plus VAT.
