What Is the 48-Hour Grace Period?
Haveaspot offers a short grace period after a Booking is confirmed, allowing you to cancel and receive a near-full refund if you made an accidental booking or changed your mind quickly.
How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”If you cancel a confirmed Booking within exactly 48 hours of the Venue confirming it, you will receive a full refund of the Total Fee minus a Cancellation Administration Fee.
The Cancellation Administration Fee is set at:
3% of the Total Fee + £0.30 (inclusive of VAT, where applicable)
This fee covers the non-refundable third-party payment processing costs that Haveaspot incurs on the transaction and cannot be waived.
The 14-Day Exception
Section titled “The 14-Day Exception”The grace period does not apply if the scheduled start time of your event is less than 14 days away from the time the Booking was confirmed.
This exception exists to protect Venues’ calendars — a last-minute cancellation close to the event date would prevent the Venue from finding another booking to fill that slot.
